Our Story
Holy Fire Digital started with my own search for a church home.
When I was looking for a community to belong to, I did what everyone does now — I pulled out my phone. And over and over, I hit the same wall: churches with no website at all, or a page built years ago on a clunky builder — no service times, no sense of who they were, no way to know if the doors were even still open. Some were exactly the warm, close-knit communities I was hoping for. But I couldn’t see them online, so I almost never found my way in.
Eventually, I found my church family. And I wanted to serve. I’d spent years building websites for myself, so I offered to build one for my new church as a way to give back.
That’s when it clicked. Seeing what a simple, welcoming website did for our congregation — and remembering how invisible so many churches had been when I was searching — I realized this was how I was meant to serve. Not just one church, but as many as I could reach, helping them shine in their communities.
For most churches, the barrier was never a lack of heart. It was cost and complexity. A beautiful website felt like something only big churches could afford.
I don’t believe a church’s budget should decide whether someone can find it. So I started Holy Fire Digital — not as a business chasing contracts, but as a ministry. We build simple, beautiful websites for churches of any size, and trust God to provide through those who are able to give.
Because the next person searching for a church home should be able to find yours.
